1.Introduction

These Terms apply to all orders placed through alistergrant.com, our showroom, or by phone and email with a member of our team. Alister Grant Fine Jewellery Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a company registered in England and Wales, trading from 14 Marlow Lane, London EC1R 0JH.

Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order. If you do not agree with any part of them, we ask that you do not use our website or place an order with us.

2.Orders & Payment

An order is only accepted once we confirm it in writing by email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing error, or stock unavailability, in which case any payment taken will be refunded in full.

• Payment is taken in full at the time of order for in-stock items.
• Made-to-order and bespoke pieces may require a non-refundable deposit, with the balance due before dispatch.
• All prices are quoted in GBP and include applicable UK VAT unless stated otherwise.

3.Bespoke Commissions

Bespoke and personalised pieces are designed and manufactured specifically to your specification. Once a design is approved and production has begun, the order cannot be cancelled, and deposits are non-refundable except where the fault lies with us.

4.Pricing & Availability

We take care to ensure prices displayed on our site are accurate, but errors may occasionally occur. Where a pricing error is identified after an order is placed, we will contact you before proceeding and you may choose to cancel at no cost.

Gemstone and precious metal prices fluctuate with global markets; quoted prices for bespoke commissions are valid for 14 days unless otherwise confirmed in writing.

5.Shipping & Delivery

All orders are sent via fully insured, tracked, signature-required courier. Estimated delivery timescales are provided at checkout and are not guaranteed delivery dates. Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.

International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes levied by the destination country, which are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our prices.

6.Returns & Cancellations

Unworn, in-stock items may be returned within 14 days of delivery in their original condition and packaging for a full refund. Bespoke, personalised, and altered pieces are exempt from this right unless faulty on arrival.

• To initiate a return, contact our client care team quoting your order number.
• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.
• Refunds are processed within 10 working days of the returned item passing inspection.

7.Warranty & Servicing

All pieces are covered by a two-year craftsmanship warranty against manufacturing defects, covering setting integrity and metal finish under normal wear. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, loss, theft, or wear and tear.

Complimentary annual inspection and cleaning is available on request; servicing outside of warranty is charged at our standard rates, quoted before any work begins.

8.Intellectual Property

All designs, photography, and content on this website are the property of Alister Grant Fine Jewellery Ltd and may not be reproduced, copied, or used commercially without our prior written consent.

9.Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of enjoyment or sentimental value, save where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

10.Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your order will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11.Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The version in effect at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
